Manufacturing Engineering (8/2024)

Position Summary & Qualifications:

• Plan production sequences based on print specifications. Ideal applicant will have a programming & machining background.  3+ years Mastercam experience preferred.  
• Responsible for keeping all operation sheets updated and correct.
• Design of production tooling and fixtures needed to support CNC lathe and mill machining operations using Solidworks (3+ years).
• Must be able to work in a team environment by interfacing with purchasing, machine operators and quality department to improve productivity, work quality and cost management.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple ongoing projects.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes (mill, lathe, grinding), equipment and tooling.
• Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen Tools
• Must be able to learn our ERP system to create work orders
• Improving overall processes and related issues.
• Responsible for ensuring proper tools are used and ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, etc.
• 5+ years’ work experience in manufacturing environment

Alternative schedule hours:  7:00am – 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 7:00am – 11:00am Friday.
